Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10

Salary: A GBP 27,393.67 per annum

Hours: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break

About The Role

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to join a manufacturing company based in Rushden.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by efficiently managing orders, handling customer enquiries and maintaining clear communication between customers and internal teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders and forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer contact via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Diagnose customer issues, research solutions and provide accurate information to resolve concerns wherever possible at first contact.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily and help prevent recurring problems.
  • Maintain accurate system information, ensuring data integrity and the removal of obsolete data.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the external sales team.
  • Liaise closely with technical support, sales and production teams to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, introducing customers to additional products or services that meet their needs.
  • Prepare and provide order information, reports and forecasts as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and streamline internal processes.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products to provide knowledgeable guidance and advice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, quality standards and customer-specific requirements.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced office or customer service environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment is desirable.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Previous experience handling telephone and email enquiries is advantageous.
