Customer Service Advisor
Location: Trax Park, Doncaster
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £27,715, plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme
About The Role
We're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Doncaster. In this key role, you'll be the first point of contact for a portfolio of our Customer Accounts, helping to resolve queries, process orders, and ensure we're delivering exceptional service. If you enjoy problem-solving, working in a collaborative environment, and making a real impact on the customer experience, this role is for you.
As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities, You'll
- Act as the first point of contact for a portfolio of Customer Accounts, resolving queries and building strong customer relationships
- Handle pricing, delivery information, and order processing from end to end
- Drive customer satisfaction and manage key customer enquiries
- Collaborate with departments across the business to troubleshoot issues and handle complaints professionally
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure swift problem resolution within agreed SLAs
- Maintain accurate records and recognise patterns in service failures
- Support business improvement activity to design and implement processes that maximise operational performance and improve customer engagement

About You
We'd love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you'd be able to perform well in this role!
- Previous experience in a customer service or support role, ideally within a fast-paced, transactional environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions
- Understanding of the rail or logistics sector, alongside experience working with e-commerce or B2B customer platforms (a distinct advantage)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, with great organisation and time-management skills
- Strong contract and commercial awareness, including knowledge of commercial terms and conditions (highly beneficial)
- English and Maths GCSEs (or equivalent), backed by good analytical skills to understand and interpret data
- Confident IT skills, particularly a strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and SAP
