PART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR | HYBRID | EDINBURGH | 28.5 HOURS

Alexander Steele Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor on behalf of a fantastic organisation based in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for genuine part-time flexibility, hybrid working and a role where customer service and making a difference to customers really matters.

THE WORKING PATTERN

The role is 28.5 hours per week, with the following working pattern:

  • Monday – Start between 8:45am and 10:00am, followed by an 8-hour shift
  • Friday – Start between 8:45am and 10:00am, followed by an 8-hour shift
  • Saturday – 9:00am – 5:00pm (home)
  • Sunday – 10:00am – 4:00pm (home)

You will work at least Monday or Friday from the Edinburgh office, with your remaining shifts working from home. FREE PARKING at the office.

The Saturday and Sunday shifts are home-based, giving you the flexibility to work from home across the weekend while still having regular opportunities to connect with colleagues in the office.

THE ROLE

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will provide excellent telephone-based customer service, taking customer orders, answering enquiries and resolving issues.

You will build trusted relationships with customers, ensuring every interaction is handled with genuine care while also working towards clear contact centre performance and customer satisfaction targets.

You will use modern telephony and CRM systems, manage customer information accurately and securely, and be comfortable working across multiple systems. Previous contact centre experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is naturally warm and friendly, enjoys helping others, is organised and reliable, and can balance excellent customer service with working efficiently in a structured environment.
