Role Description
The Customer Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Colnbrook, providing front-line support to customers using AmWorld’s courier and logistics services. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Handling inbound calls and emails
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Resolving issues
- Providing timely updates on shipments and logistics activities
The role involves coordinating with operations and warehouse teams, and ensuring service levels and customer expectations are met. The advisor will also:
- Monitor customer satisfaction
- Escalate complex issues when needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused service mindset, with proven ability to build trust and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Experience in customer support and customer service roles, ideally within logistics, courier, or related industries.
- Professional telephone manner and clear written communication skills for handling calls and emails.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries, prioritize tasks, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence with CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, data entry).
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to work closely with operations and warehouse teams on-site in Colnbrook.
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain customer service is beneficial but not essential.
- Relevant education or training in customer service, administration, or a related field is an advantage.

Shift Patterns include:
- 07:30-16:30
- 08:00-17:00
- 08:30-17:30
- 09:00-18:00
- 09:30-18:30
- 10:00-19:00
Once competently trained, the successful candidate will be added to an on-call rotation which allows our Customer Service to be open 24/7.
