Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £35,431
Location: Bristol
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Overview

Our client is an established UK mobility services organisation seeking a Customer Service Advisor to provide dedicated support to a nationwide dealer network.

The role will focus on improving dealer performance, maintaining compliance, and delivering positive customer outcomes. Working across inbound, outbound, and digital channels, the successful candidate will resolve complex enquiries, investigate underlying issues, and support dealerships in applying operational and marketing best practice.

This is a varied, fast-paced position requiring effective relationship management, sound judgment, and a strong understanding of dealership operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct operational support to dealerships through telephone, messaging, and video channels.
  • Manage inbound and outbound dealer enquiries, identifying root causes, and challenging poor practice where appropriate.
  • Support a nationwide network of car and mobility equipment dealerships.
  • Assist account managers with dealership support requests and priority dealer-group activity.
  • Resolve complex customer complaints and dealership-related issues.
  • Manage customer-not-present and backdating processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Support dealerships in applying marketing best practice and using online marketing resources.
  • Maintain accurate dealership records and customer-facing location information.
  • Respond promptly to negative customer reviews and support appropriate resolution.
  • Promote operational best practice across internal teams and the dealer network.
  • Identify recurring challenges and recommend practical solutions.
  • Complete administrative activity accurately and within agreed service levels.
  • Resolve dealership logistics issues while maintaining engagement and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Act as a dealership subject-matter expert for colleagues across the organisation.
