We are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our Safe Storage Business Unit based in Portadown.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers across Great Britain, providing professional support throughout the customer journey. From responding to enquiries and preparing quotations to processing orders and coordinating deliveries, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive a first-class service.

Working closely with Sales, Production, Transport, Scheduling, and Service teams, you will help ensure customer requirements are met accurately and efficiently while building strong and lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service through telephone and email support.
  • Prepare and issue accurate customer quotations and follow up on opportunities.
  • Process customer orders and manage them through to successful delivery.
  • Keep customers informed with timely updates on quotations, orders, and deliveries.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and order information using internal systems.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Kingspan products and services to provide effective support and advice.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute positively to team objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment handling customer calls and enquiries.
  • Experience of sales order processing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in a sales or aftersales environment.
  • Experience working within a customer-facing or sales support role.
  • Degree-level qualification.
  • Experience using ERP or business management systems.
