Customer Service Advisor
Livingston. Part time. £12.71 per hour, around 12 - 18 hours per week
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor for one of our companies, a gas services business, in Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston where the position will also be based. Applicants must have good experience in a similar Customer Services, Planning or Administration Support role to be considered for this role, its primary function being to continually deliver excellent customer service to existing customers of the company.
You would be required to make calls to existing customers to schedule their job bookings, answer calls from customers and assist them with their enquiry, and book customers in for their annual boiler service & gas safety checks.
You will also handle customer queries, liaise with and help to manage the diaries of the engineering team regarding appointments they have to attend, update all new jobs and information onto the CRM system, and all other associated administration duties that go with the position.

Applicants must have a great telephone manner as you will be answering the phone and speaking with customers constantly. You will have good administration and computer skills and be a personable person as you will work closely with colleagues and customers in order to achieve objectives.
Key skills required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service, operational support, planning, or a telephone-based administration role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Well organised and efficient with great attention to detail
- Self-disciplined but also able to work as part of a team
- Good level of numeracy and IT skills

This is a part-time position with current set days and hours of Monday and Friday, 9.00am to 3.00pm (contracted 12 hours minimum per week). We would however like someone who is and can flexible and who would welcome more hours as overtime as and when the business needs them to, with similar hours likely being requested for Wednesdays as we move into the winter period which is usually a particularly busy time for the company.
