M&M Waste Solutions, originally founded as M&M Transport in 1972 in Witney, Oxfordshire, has grown from a small operation into a leading waste management and recycling provider across Oxfordshire. Over the decades, the company shifted its focus from coal distribution to skip hire, waste collection, and eventually waste management and treatment. Now operating from its main site at Worton Park in Cassington, M&M Waste Solutions runs a transfer station and materials recovery facility, supported by over 85 staff across 2 locations and a fleet of more than 30 vehicles. The company continues to invest in modern equipment and facilities to maintain its position as Oxfordshire’s premier waste management company, offering stable employment and room for professional growth.
Role Description
The Customer Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cassington, supporting customers with skip hire services. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Handling inbound and outbound calls
- Responding to email and online inquiries
- Providing clear information on services, bookings, and collections
- Managing customer accounts
- Updating records accurately
- Coordinating with operations and transport teams to ensure services are delivered as promised

The role involves:
- Resolving customer issues promptly and professionally
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Following company procedures to ensure consistent service standards
This position requires working collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to a positive team environment, and representing the company in a courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused service skills, with the ability to understand needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Experience driving customer satisfaction, including handling queries, complaints, and feedback constructively
- Professional telephone manner and clear communication skills for managing high volumes of calls
- Background in customer support or customer service, ideally within logistics, waste management, or related sectors
- Good written communication skills for email correspondence and record keeping
- Ability to work on-site in Cassington, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using basic office software and customer management systems; training will be provided as needed
- Self-motivated, taking ownership of their workload and following tasks through to completion
- Data-driven, using accurate information and records
