Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Widnes
Salary: £26,520 (Monday to Sunday between 6:30am – 10:00pm)
Contract: This will be a 6 month fixed term contract starting 21st September 2026
About The Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will have the unique opportunity to work in partnership with one of our well-known supermarket chains. Our customer service team plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our customers and colleagues.
We are seeking dedicated and proactive Customer Service Advisors to join our team. Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of facilities management terminology and retail operations, exceptional multi-tasking skills, and a proficiency in technology. You will play an essential role in managing end-to-end work order processes while ensuring effective communication with suppliers and stakeholders.

You will be prioritising and managing inbound calls and escalating work orders efficiently. Manage the end-to-end work order escalations, including ETA queries and outbound calls to suppliers for updates. Assess urgency and risk of site and supplier escalations and as needed, especially for critical trade, health and safety matters, or major incidents.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Preferably 1+ year experience or understanding of Facilities Management, Contact Centre, Customer Service or Retail areas. Other experience from other industries could be considered.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Quick thinking to handle queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing data, processing information, and adhering to policy and procedures.
- Digital Literacy: Comfortable using a variety of systems and tools (Microsoft Office, CRM software, etc.) to log and track interactions and work orders.
- Strong organisational skills: with the ability to prioritize calls and workload effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
