Customer Service Advisor – Financial Services | City of London

Salary: £16.00 per hour
Hours: 2pm – 11pm | Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 days home
Location: City of London – Amazing office with free breakfast and lunch.

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing financial services business for a Customer Service Advisor to join their London customer support team. You'll be the first point of contact for customers dealing with their accounts, payments and transactions — work that carries real responsibility and gives you exposure to a regulated environment from day one.

What you'll be doing

  • Handling inbound calls from customers about accounts, payments and transactions
  • Resolving queries first time where possible, and escalating appropriately where not
  • Accurately recording customer information and case notes on internal systems
  • Investigating issues and following them through to resolution
  • Identifying and supporting customers in vulnerable circumstances in line with company policy
  • Working to internal procedures and regulatory standards on every interaction

What you'll need

  • Customer service or contact centre experience (financial services background welcome but not essential)
  • Clear, confident communication and genuine listening skills
  • Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in a regulated environment
  • Comfortable picking up new systems and software quickly
  • Able to stay composed and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Availability to work the 2pm – 11pm shift pattern
