Customer Care Advisor
Salary up to £30,000
Altrincham (Hybrid after probation)
Do you have experience supporting customers in a busy, high-volume environment and enjoy solving queries from start to finish? Maxwell Bond is partnered with one of the UK's leading contractor payroll providers who are looking for a Customer Care Advisor to support contractors with everything from onboarding and timesheets to payroll, tax and pensions.
What you'll do as a Customer Care Advisor
- Act as the first point of contact for contractors, supporting them throughout their journey with the business
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, as well as email queries
- Support new contractors through the onboarding process
- Resolve queries relating to payroll, tax, pensions and timesheets
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while meeting service levels and quality standards

Experience as a Customer Care Advisor
- Previous experience in a telephone-based customer service or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email
- Ability to think quickly, solve problems and work effectively under pressure
- Confidence handling challenging conversations
- Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
- Experience within customer service, contact centres, financial services, telecoms or other high-volume environments is desirable but not essential
