Graduate Patient Services Advisor

Oxted | Full-time | 40 hours per week | Office-based

Are you a recent graduate looking for a role where you can build valuable commercial experience while making a genuine difference to people?

We are recruiting a bright, personable and highly organised Graduate Patient Services Advisor to join the team of a fast-growing private healthcare business in Oxted.

You do not need previous healthcare experience. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent first or second career opportunity for someone who wants to develop their communication, customer service, administration and problem-solving skills within a professional environment.

You may have gained experience through a part-time job, internship, placement year, volunteering or a customer-facing role alongside your studies. What matters most is that you are confident speaking to people, comfortable using technology and genuinely enjoy helping others.

The role

As part of the Patient Services team, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients. You will support them from their initial enquiry through to appointments and follow-up care, ensuring they receive a warm, efficient and reassuring service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering patient enquiries by telephone and email
  • Booking and coordinating appointments
  • Providing clear information and regular updates
  • Supporting patients throughout their care journey
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
  • Liaising with clinicians and other members of the clinic team
  • Taking ownership of enquiries and resolving problems
  • Escalating sensitive or complex matters when appropriate
  • Using booking, CRM and other digital systems
  • Helping the team continually improve the patient experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
