Customer Service Advisor - Renewables

Leeds Office | Full Time

Technical mindset? Great with people? We want to hear from you!

We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our technical support team. When our engineers are out at a customer’s home installing Solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers or heat pumps, things don’t always go to plan. That’s where you come in.

You’ll be the person engineers and customers turn to when there’s a technical issue on site. You’ll help understand what’s gone wrong, work through the options and make sure the right support is provided to get the job moving again.

This is an office-based role, so it’s a great opportunity for someone who has a technical mindset and enjoys problem-solving, but wants to work in a fast-paced office environment rather than being on site themselves.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take calls and requests from engineers and customers when installation issues arise
  • Understand technical problems and help identify practical solutions
  • Support engineers remotely while they’re working at customer properties
  • Provide clear and reassuring advice to customers when things don’t go to plan
  • Coordinate engineers, technicians and other teams to resolve issues
  • Assess the urgency of issues and prioritise emergency or safety-related callouts
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support where appropriate
  • Keep job information, call logs and updates accurate in our systems
  • Follow up on outstanding issues to make sure they’re properly resolved
  • Identify recurring technical issues and share feedback with the wider team
  • Help improve processes and the customer and engineer experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
