Company Description

The Wimbledon Smokehouse is dedicated to producing high-quality smoked fish using carefully selected fresh ingredients. The business supplies its products to Michelin-starred and other high-end restaurants, casual dining venues, and specialist fishmongers. Team members contribute to maintaining rigorous standards of taste, texture, and consistency in every product. Role Description

The Customer Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This position is responsible for handling customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, ensuring prompt, accurate, and courteous responses. Day-to-day tasks include:

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-focused service skills, with a commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Experience maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Professional telephone manner and clear, confident communication skills for inbound and outbound calls.
  • Background in customer support or customer service, ideally in food, hospitality, or retail environments.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail when managing orders, customer records, and follow-ups.
  • Ability to work on-site in London, collaborate effectively with a small team, and manage busy periods calmly.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, order systems, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn internal tools.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role and an interest in food or hospitality are beneficial.
