Customer Services Administrator -Imports
Location: Purfleet
Monday to Friday
DSV Road are looking to recruit an experienced customer services administrator to join the international Import department. The role will have a focus on supporting our European partners with enquiries and do order management on bookings from our UK based customers.
The successful candidate, who will be reporting to the customer service supervisor, will be responsible for dealing with bookings from UK customers and deal with day-to-day enquiries related to UK import shipments, investigating issues and liaising with other internal departments within DSV UK.
About You
- Self-driven, good attention to details with a positive outlook
- Excellent customer services skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
What will you be doing?
- Timely and effective communication with customers, partners, and internal departments via e-mail/telephone.
- Updating/verifying the DSV Order Management System with customer booking details and customs details.
- Liaise with operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered upon.
- Effective monitoring to ensure deliveries are completed within the agreed timelines.
- Ensure that all collection consignments are conforming to correct information.
- Pro-active problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise.
- Comply with and understand customs regulations when transporting freight from the Europe.
- Resolve Credit Management Queries where necessary.
- General day-to-day administrative duties.
