Do you have the confidence, communication skills, and attention to detail needed to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time?
We have Customer Service and Administration career opportunities within our Shared Service Centre.
The Hampshire Shared Services Partnership brings together important support functions, like finance, payroll, pensions, and human resources for several public sector organizations across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, London, and Oxfordshire. Instead of each organization running these services separately, we deliver them together in one place, making them more efficient and cost-effective. Our teams help thousands of staff get what they need to do their jobs every day, and we handle billions of pounds each year to pay employees and suppliers. We do this with accuracy, efficiency, and put great customer service at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
We are recruiting customer service and administration roles to deliver services in Customer Support, Transactional Finance, Transactional HR, Payroll, Pensions, and Recruitment. You can find out more about our Partnership, workplace, and team here: [Shared Services Partnership](about Shared Services Partnership).
If you have experience working in customer services or administration, we can give you the training and support you will need.
What you’ll do:
- Manage customer enquiries efficiently through webchat, email, and telephone.
- Process and update enquiries within our systems and databases accurately, ensuring full compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and data protection requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
