Job Purpose
Harris Maxus UK is a growing commercial vehicle business that is moving at pace. We are looking for someone positive, organised, and solutions-focused to join our aftersales team.
As a Customer Service and Resolution Specialist, you will manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to resolution. You will work closely with customers, our dealer network, and internal teams to understand issues, agree actions, and make sure things are followed through.
This is a role with real responsibility and ownership. It is not about simply passing issues on. It is about taking ownership, getting the right people involved, and making sure the customer gets a clear outcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to resolution
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and keep them updated
- Work closely with dealers to understand issues, agree actions, and drive progress
- Liaise with Parts, Technical, Warranty, and Aftersales teams where required
- Escalate issues when needed and make sure they continue to be owned
- Keep clear and accurate case records and follow up agreed actions
- Manage several cases at the same time and prioritise according to customer impact and urgency
- Identify recurring issues and feed these back into the wider business

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
