Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week (flexible working arrangements available) with opportunity to move to full-time.
Location: Okehampton, Devon (Hybrid working possible after initial onboarding)

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email and social media, providing timely and positive solutions.
- Handle and distribute product support queries, complaints and claims.
- Coordinate all aspects of outbound shipping, including scheduling pickups, judging cost/priorities decisions, and ensuring compliance with Customs regulations.
- Maintain customer database with view to implementing CRM system.
- Analysing and summarising recurring queries, complaints and system disconnects to implement improvements in marketing, engineering and supply chain.
- Work with logistics partners to resolve disputes and assist with Customs.
- Develop reporting and analysis - lead initiatives to drive out cost.
- Support supply chain activities by monitoring inventory levels, assisting with lead generation efforts for new business opportunities, and maintaining detailed records of shipments and customer interactions.
- Ensure all shipping documentation complies with regulatory standards while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Logging recurring product problems and feeding them back internally, then producing a simple monthly summary of common enquiries, fit questions, complaints, returns, shipping issues, and reasons customers hesitate to buy which can be used to feed back into website, messaging etc. development.
Essential Skills & Experience

- Personable and engaging to be able to support customers in person, by video and over the phone.
- Proficiency in web-based courier management systems (e.g. FedEx, DHL etc) for seamless order processing.
- Strong understanding of International supply chain logistics, including coordination with both customers and logistics partners.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with logistics partners.
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting to support overall business plan.
- A responsible self-starter able to prioritise and progress work activities.
- Problem-solver – able to troubleshoot issues customers and suppliers alike.
- Identify opportunities for improvement with both customer relationship processes and supplier management.
- An eye for detail.
- Understanding of expectations of high-end customers.
- Responsibility to own and act on mistakes.
- A responsive communicator.
- Moderate to high levels of computer literacy.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
- Knowledge of Customs practices such as Harmonised System of Tariffs.
- Ability to navigate B2C and B2B sales processes, lead generation strategies, and relationships with confidence.
