Purpose Of the Role:
Provide exceptional customer service and operational support within DACHSER’s fast-paced logistics environment. By managing customer enquiries, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring accurate administration of orders and documentation, the apprentice helps keep goods moving efficiently through the supply chain. The position plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting daily operations, and contributing to a collaborative, service-driven team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service within agreed timeframes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Communicate proactively with partners, customers, and internal teams via phone and email
- Process orders accurately, including data entry and customs documentation
- Monitor shipment progress and update stakeholders on any changes or delays relating to customs or operational issues
- Support daily operational activities within the department
- Carry out administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

- Strong communication skills - confident in both verbal and written communication
- Excellent organizational abilities - able to manage tasks, priorities, and workflow effectively

- Solid IT capability - comfortable using a range of systems and digital tools
