Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in sales and customer service while working towards an apprenticeship qualification.
Wage
£21,000 a year. Minimum wage rates (opens in new tab). Performance increases will be applied if certain criteria are met within the role.
Training
Course: Customer service specialist (level 3)
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5:30pm
- Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
- Lunch break: 1 hour
- 37 hours a week
Start date: Wednesday 28 October 2026
Duration: 1 year 6 months

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting customer orders
- Handling customer queries by phone, email, and other communication channels
- Liaising with other teams to support order processing
- Contacting existing and prospective customers

Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Training provider: LINCOLN COLLEGE
Training course: Customer service specialist (level 3)
Course contents:
- Business focused service delivery
- Providing a positive customer experience
- Working with customers/customer insights
- Customer Service performance
- Service Improvement
Training schedule: The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Level 3 Customer Service. The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a day-a-month release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln College one day a month in the term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.
Requirements
Essential qualifications:
- GCSE in: English and Maths (grade A*/9 – C/4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
