Customer Service Apprenticeship

Customer Service Apprenticeship – Cannock

Working hours:

Monday to Friday

Location:

Cannock, fully on-site

Salary:

£18,600 per year

Are you looking for an opportunity to start your career in customer service while gaining a recognised qualification? Are you organised, keen to learn and comfortable speaking with customers?

We’re looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to join our Solideal-on-Site team in Cannock. You’ll learn how to provide accurate, helpful support to customers while developing valuable workplace skills and completing your apprenticeship coursework.

Solideal-on-Site is part of the Michelin Group, delivering expert tyre fitting and maintenance services directly to industrial and materials handling customers. From warehouses to distribution centres, our work helps to keep essential operations running smoothly.

This role plays an important part in keeping our customers’ operations moving. When forklifts stop, warehouses can stall, disrupting the movement of essential goods. By supporting customers and helping to organise services effectively, you’ll contribute to keeping supply chains running while developing your confidence, knowledge and customer service skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

With support and training from the team, you’ll learn how to:

  • Prepare customer quotes accurately and with close attention to detail
  • Follow up open quotes and communicate clearly with customers
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to customer queries professionally
  • Create work orders and schedule service appointments
  • Use customer relationship management systems to update records and service activity
  • Work with internal teams and external contractors to support smooth service delivery
  • Manage your workload and complete administrative tasks accurately
  • Complete the coursework and learning activities required for your apprenticeship

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
