Location: Liverpool | Full-time, Permanent | Salary: £28,260.05 + Benefits

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our busy team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, supporting the smooth movement of goods while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries and providing updates on deliveries and collections
  • Booking customer jobs onto company systems and allocating them to the relevant depots
  • Working closely with warehouse teams and customers to resolve stock discrepancies
  • Raising and following up on any delivery or booking disputes
  • Assisting with customer quotations when required
  • Providing support and cover for the Transport Team when needed
  • Building positive relationships with customers and delivering a consistently high standard of service

What You'll Need

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach and willingness to use your initiative
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
