About This Opportunity
An enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant Apprentice is needed to join the team in Tamworth. This is a telephone-based, customer-facing role at the heart of our existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Make and take regular phone calls to existing clients to maintain and develop strong working relationships
- Proactively identify opportunities for new business from existing clients during calls and pass these on to the relevant team
- Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a friendly and professional manner
- Support the resolution of customer queries and complaints, escalating where necessary
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client conversations and outcomes on internal systems
- Work closely with the sales team to follow up on new business leads generated from client calls
- Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to support a positive, consistent customer experience
- Take part in all elements of the apprenticeship programme, including off-the-job training and coursework

- Confident and comfortable speaking with clients on the phone on a regular basis
- Curious about sales and keen to learn how new business is identified and developed from existing relationships
- Good listening skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable using basic IT systems (email, Microsoft Office, etc.)
