About This Opportunity

An enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant Apprentice is needed to join the team in St Helens. This is a telephone-based, customer-facing role at the heart of our existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make and take regular phone calls to existing clients to maintain and develop strong working relationships
  • Proactively identify opportunities for new business from existing clients during calls and pass these on to the relevant team
  • Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a friendly and professional manner
  • Support the resolution of customer queries and complaints, escalating where necessary
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client conversations and outcomes on internal systems
  • Work closely with the sales team to follow up on new business leads generated from client calls
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to support a positive, consistent customer experience
  • Take part in all elements of the apprenticeship programme, including off-the-job training and coursework
