Job Description: CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE - Pharmacy
Location:
Polar Speed UPS, Site 1, Chartmoor Road, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 4WG
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week, split shifts each week - 8am to 4.40pm, and 9.30am to 6pm
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
- Deal directly with clients by phone and email
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and raise complaints where appropriate
- Order processing and invoicing
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Communicate and collaborate with all internal departments
- Update and maintain accurate patient records on the patient database
- Recognise and report adverse events in accordance with SOP and within the specified timeline
- Rotate around the treatment therapies to develop a full skill set in all functions of the department
- Perform any general administration duties required to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Additional tasks may be requested by the Seniors and Team Leaders, when appropriate to the skills and responsibilities of a Customer Service Associate

- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent organisational skills, show initiative and be proactive
- Must have a good eye for detail, be able to work well under pressure and be a quick learner
- Good working knowledge of IT packages: Word, Excel, Polar Track, Internet/Intranet, Masternaut, Teams
- Team player mentality with ability to work on own initiative and influence others
- Must appreciate the need for retaining confidentiality
