Blended working after probation
Close date: 13/09/2026
Attention
Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems, guiding people through important processes, and delivering excellent service in a regulated environment? UK Power Networks is looking for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join the MPAN Management Team within Finance, supporting customers and electricity suppliers with requests for new Meter Point Administration Numbers.
Interest
In this role, you will help business and domestic customers obtain the metering points they need, including support for low carbon technology on the electricity network. Following comprehensive training, you will assess Import and Export MPAN requests, liaise with customers and suppliers, and ensure the right outcomes are reached in line with industry and company guidelines. You will take ownership of customer relationships, provide clear guidance to customers who may be unfamiliar with the process, create and issue MPANs where appropriate, and work closely with internal teams to identify unsafe, dangerous or illegal connections. You will also help ensure MPANs are correctly addressed and recorded as unique identifiers for metering points.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
