Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Sherburn In Elmet (Flexible Hybrid working)

Contract and shift pattern: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Package includes: Salary £24,786 a year, plus pension contributions matched up to 10% and access to flexible benefits that support your development, wellbeing and everyday life.

Our Customer Services Team is looking for a Customer Services Coordinator to join our growing business, supporting customers across National Milk Records (NMR) and KW Feeds. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our customer experience, managing enquiries, processing orders and payments, and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve customer queries from start to finish. With full training and support provided, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is customer-focused, adaptable, and eager to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver outstanding customer service across National Milk Records and KW Feeds, acting as a trusted point of contact for customers.
  • Manage customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, aiming for first-contact resolution wherever possible.
  • Process customer orders, payments, and account requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to invoice and payment queries, investigating issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM/ERP systems in line with company procedures and GDPR requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams, field colleagues, and product specialists to resolve customer issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to promote products and services and pass potential sales leads to the relevant teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with additional projects or business activities as required.

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to customers over the phone and via email.
  • A customer-focused attitude and genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Strong IT literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when processing information.
  • A positive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn new systems, products, and processes.
