ROLE - Customer Service & Sales Coordinator
TERM - Permanent
LOCATION - Hampshire
SALARY - £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
My client is a well-established and growing Manufacturer. They are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and commercially minded Customer Service & Sales Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Customer Service & Sales Coordinator will ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, account management or similar commercial role
- Customer-focused with a proactive and commercially aware approach
- Confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities
- Tenacious, resilient and solutions-focused
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Able to use initiative and take ownership of tasks from start to finish
- Positive team player who can work effectively across different areas of the business
- Ability to identify opportunities to retain, upsell and grow customer accounts
- Keen to learn, develop and make a real difference within a growing business

The Customer Service & Sales Coordinator role will involve:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, orders and requests
- Building and developing strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Supporting the sales team with quotations, proposals, samples, trials and administration
- Following up opportunities and helping to convert enquiries into sales
- Identifying opportunities to retain, upsell and grow existing customer accounts
- Processing orders and maintaining accurate CRM and customer records
- Coordinating with sales, operations, finance, customer service and logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Taking ownership of customer queries and complaints and working proactively to find solutions
- Supporting customer onboarding and account development
- Producing reports and providing feedback to help improve the customer experience
- Helping to deliver the company's commitment to responding to customer enquiries within 24 hours
