What Will You Be Doing?

Be the voice of the customer within DTC and drive the business to be excellent in the eyes of the customer. To ensure sales orders, customer accounts and returns are efficiently and accurately loaded into the company’s MRP system and that communication internally and externally is proactive. The provision of premium customer service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Order Administration & Quotations:

  • Receive and load customer purchase orders into company MRP system
  • Supporting the sales seam with pipeline opportunities and quotations
  • Attend the daily operations shipping meeting, taking on the voice of the customer to ensure all orders are on track to meet customer expectations
  • Process Customers’ requests for Return to Manufacturer Authorisations (RMA’s)
  • Raise accurate customer RMA quotes for chargeable repairs & follow up to PO receipt

Customer Liaison:

  • Field customer enquiries, by phone & email
  • Provide updates to customers / sales team on order and customer return progress
  • Ensure customer enquiries are followed up
  • Support with the receipt and resolution of customer complaints and record keeping administration on business non-conformance system
  • Attend required meetings that involve customer service/order subjects
  • Engage in regular courtesy calls

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience working within a customer service/administration role, ideally in a supply chain / manufacturing sector.
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Proven excellent written and communication skills
  • Good level of numeracy skills
  • European language skills desirable
  • Must be flexible and accommodating to last minute changes to support business and customer needs
  • Conversant with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Business systems competent (ERP and MRP)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience of a customer service working environment
  • Accuracy of processing data
