Sunray Engineering Limited is a market-leading manufacturer and installer of Steel and Timber Security Doors, Fire Doors, Louvre Panels, Access Hatches, and specialist Blast and Ballistic Protection solutions. Our products are specified across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK and internationally.

We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Internal Sales Team and play a key role in supporting customer enquiries, quotations, and sales administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up quotations and provide regular updates on potential order conversions.
  • Monitor contract and enquiry progress, maintaining accurate records throughout the sales process.
  • Manage and support the Sales Inbox, pre-qualifying enquiries before allocation to Estimators.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers, recording enquiry and client information accurately.
  • Liaise with customers to clarify requirements and gather information needed to support quotation preparation.
  • Support forecasting and quotation conversion reporting.
  • Ensure customer enquiries receive a response within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activity and customer communications.
  • Update customer and enquiry information within company systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative position.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience supporting quotation, estimating, or sales processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
