Customer Service Representative (French Speaking)
Location: Groby, Leicester
Salary: Dependent on experience

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Representative to join their customer service and inside sales team based in Groby, Leicester. This is a busy, office-based role supporting customers via phone, email, and online channels within an international business.
Fluent French speakers
The Role
You will support order entry, inside sales, and administrative activities, acting as a key pre- and after-sales contact point. The role focuses on delivering a high standard of service while coordinating effectively with internal teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering.
For French-speaking roles, excellent written and spoken French is essential, alongside strong English skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide office-based phone, email, and web support to sales teams, distributors, dealers, direct customers, and OEMs
- Respond to queries regarding order status, lead times, shipments, returns, and invoicing
- Manage allocated key accounts and geographic regions, with support across other regions as required
- Liaise with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met
- Resolve invoicing and order issues accurately and efficiently
- Process sales orders, return authorisations, invoices, customer data, and agreements with attention to detail
- Maintain Customer Master Data and complete relevant security checks
- Use customer portals for order and account management
- Participate in regular customer calls and ad-hoc process improvement projects
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and export control regulations

Experience & Skills Required
- Previous office-based customer service experience, including phone and email support
- French speaking: Fluent written and spoken French plus strong English
- Experience in order processing, customer administration, or internal sales support is advantageous
- Customer service experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Good MS Office skills
- SAP experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise, and work under pressure
- A team-focused approach with clear communication skills
