Are you an experienced customer service professional who can combine genuine empathy with the ability to work at pace?

We're recruiting two Customer Service Coordinators to join a busy, purpose-led organisation providing essential services to people across Surrey.

This is a busy, people-focused role where you’ll handle a wide range of calls where no two conversations will necessarily be the same. You'll speak with a wide range of people, including service users, family members and professionals, some of whom may be contacting the service during difficult or sensitive circumstances.

You'll need to be someone who can make people feel heard, respected and cared for, while confidently managing conversations and working efficiently within a busy call environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Handling a high volume of inbound telephone calls
  • Making outbound calls when required
  • Responding to queries professionally, sensitively and efficiently
  • Coordinating and processing service requests and orders
  • Checking information and identifying errors or discrepancies
  • Accurately updating internal systems and records
  • Completing general administration to support the wider operation
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Working as part of a close-knit team to meet service levels and respond to busy periods

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The role can be demanding and fast-paced, but the work has a real purpose. You'll be part of a service that makes a tangible difference to people's everyday lives, with training designed to help you understand the wider impact of the work you do.

The wider service operates between 8am and 8pm, although these vacancies are specifically for the 9am–6pm shift, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to support the wider team when needed, and paid overtime may also be available.

This position will initially be offered on a three-month temporary basis, with the intention of progressing to a permanent role for successful candidates.

If you're looking for more than just another call centre role and want to join a supportive team where empathy, personality and teamwork genuinely matter, we'd love to hear from you.
