Role Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service and E-commerce Operations Exec to join our growing team.

This is a full-time, permanent remote position based near Brighton or the South West Coast with local travel required.

You’ll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience and supporting Ecommerce operations with day-to-day essential administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, supportive, family-run team whilst working with a long-standing brand community.

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, your Key Responsibilities include:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all customer email enquiries
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, deliveries, returns, and refunds
  • Support day-to-day ECommerce operations using platforms such as BigCommerce
  • Assist with order processing, including coordination with 3PL partners for dispatch and delivery
  • Process customer returns
  • Collate and share customer feedback with relevant internal teams
  • Promote a positive brand experience

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing retail role
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to manage their own workload & maintain clear communication across multiple teams and touchpoints
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills to communicate clearly, build rapport, and handle customer interactions with professionalism
  • Previous administrative experience, including working knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Comfort using eCommerce platforms, CRM tools, and standard office software; willingness to learn new systems

Desirable

  • Previous experience working in the fashion or footwear industry
  • Familiar with 3PL warehousing and distribution
  • Familiar with ECommerce platform (BigCommerce)
  • Past experience working with D2C ECommerce brands
  • Previous experience in eCommerce operations (order processing, returns, stock checks) is highly beneficial
