Are you an experienced Customer Service or Client Services professional with a background in print management?

We are recruiting for an established and successful print management company based in Rochester, looking for an experienced Customer Service Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of the print industry, enjoys working closely with clients and is confident managing orders from initial enquiry through to completion.

The Role

Working as part of a busy customer service team, you will act as a key link between clients, the sales team, production and other internal departments, ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently and delivered to the required deadlines.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Acting as a key point of contact between customers, sales and internal departments
  • Managing client communication via telephone, email and face-to-face
  • Processing and raising print orders and monitoring their progress
  • Liaising with production and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Chasing orders and keeping customers updated
  • Managing and resolving customer queries and potential account issues
  • Understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable print solutions
  • Supporting the Department Manager and wider team
  • Providing general administration and order management support
  • Working proactively to identify and resolve problems
  • Managing multiple orders and priorities within a fast-paced environment

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within print management or a print-related customer service/client services role
  • A strong understanding of the print production and order process
  • Experience managing customer print orders from enquiry through to completion
  • Excellent telephone, email and face-to-face communication skills
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple customer requirements and production deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to negotiate and manage potential account issues
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
  • A willingness to learn, undertake training and develop within the role
