Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Customer Service teams interact with customers and company sales representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales and post-sales service functions. They use phone, email, and the internet to manage customer correspondence and internal enquiries. They also investigate and resolve customer complaints.

A key focus of the role is developing strong working relationships with customers and internal support functions.

Your New Role

  • Be the primary day-to-day interface for assigned account partners in the UK
  • Carry out contract reviews on orders/schedules and process them within SAP
  • Progress and expedite orders as requested
  • Process requests for quotations
  • Process customer returns
  • Investigate credit and debit requests and queries, issuing credits/debits where necessary
  • Conduct regular reviews with your account base to discuss OTD (On-Time Delivery), backlog, and general support issues
  • Review, action, and issue all relevant order-related reports
  • Follow TESOG policies and procedures
  • Proactively perform quote follow-up activities

Your Ideal Background

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and people at all levels of the organisation
  • Proactive and flexible attitude with a strong team focus
  • Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience handling customers in a highly customer-oriented environment
  • SAP experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience using Outlook, Word, and Excel
