Customer Services Executive

Location: Cranleigh (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: Circa £37,000 per annum
Contract: 12-month fixed term (Maternity Cover)

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Customer Services Executive to join a well-established and growing business on a 12-month maternity cover contract, based in Cranleigh.

The business is known for delivering high-quality products and services, with a strong reputation for reliability, responsiveness, and building long-term customer relationships.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being at the centre of operations, and takes pride in delivering a seamless customer experience from start to finish.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the full order journey from initial enquiry through to delivery planning, coordination, and post-delivery follow-up. You will act as the key link between customers, sales, and operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from quotation through to completion
  • Ensure all order details are accurate before processing
  • Set up and maintain customer records within internal systems
  • Keep customers updated throughout the order process
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth fulfilment
  • Check stock availability and support delivery planning
  • Book and confirm delivery dates with customers
  • Handle inbound communications across phone, email, and other channels
  • Manage shared inboxes and ensure timely responses
  • Follow up after delivery to confirm receipt and successful unloading

What success looks like

Success in this role is measured by strong customer satisfaction, accurate order processing, and clear, timely communication across all stages of the order journey

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in customer service, order processing, or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Calm, professional approach under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion

£37,000 per annum
