Customer Service Executive
Location: Sandwich, Kent (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 Months
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and solving complex customer problems?
Our client, a global pharmaceutical organisation, is looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their Sales Order Management & Customer Excellence Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment supporting healthcare professionals, pharmacies, customers and internal stakeholders across the UK.
This is more than a traditional customer service role. You will become a trusted customer advocate, managing enquiries, complaints and escalations while working closely with Supply Chain, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, healthcare professionals and internal colleagues
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Investigate and resolve complex complaints and escalations
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Support order management and customer account queries
- Work cross-functionally to deliver effective customer solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and order processing activities

What We're Looking For
- Proven customer service experience
- Experience handling complaints, escalations and difficult customer conversations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and systems simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Experience in order processing, customer accounts or supply chain environments is highly desirable
