Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service role based in Felixstowe. The Customer Service team member will handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to email inquiries, and provide real-time updates to customers on container movements and delivery schedules. Daily tasks include logging requests, coordinating with drivers and operations staff, resolving issues or delays, and ensuring accurate documentation in internal systems. The role involves maintaining clear communication with customers, managing expectations, and escalating complex concerns to the appropriate team members when needed. The position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to company procedures, and a professional approach to every customer interaction.

- Strong Customer Service and Customer Support skills, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to inquiries.
- Experience focused on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Experience, ensuring positive, solutions-oriented interactions.
- Excellent Phone Etiquette and clear spoken communication skills for managing high-volume calls.
- Good written communication skills for email correspondence and updating records accurately.
- Ability to work on-site in Felixstowe and collaborate effectively with operations, dispatch, and driver teams.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for handling multiple customer requests and tracking shipments.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and logistics or CRM systems.
- Prior experience in transport, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment is required.
