Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator
Plympton, Plymouth
Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 11:00am - 4:00pm
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator to join a busy and expanding business based in Plympton.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company experiencing continued growth, offering a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
Whether you're coordinating urgent deliveries, supporting customers, or working closely with drivers and logistics partners, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating scheduled and urgent deliveries across the UK
- Managing customer enquiries and providing real-time updates
- Liaising with drivers, suppliers and logistics partners
- Preparing quotations and responding to service requests
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Identifying opportunities to support business growth
- Ensuring high levels of service are delivered at all times
- Helping maximise operational efficiency through effective planning and communication

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, logistics, sales support or a similar role
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK and confidence working with locations, routes and distances to support effective delivery planning
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
