Job Title: Customer Services Manager
Location: Stafford, primarily office-based
Salary: £70,000 DOE
About the Role
We’re working with a growing SaaS business based in Stafford that is looking for an experienced Customer Services Manager to take ownership of its wider customer-facing function.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving, and scaling customer operations, rather than simply managing an established process.
You'll lead multiple customer-facing functions including Customer Support, Customer Success, Implementation, Training, and Go-To-Market, working across a team of around 15 people and providing leadership to existing team leads and managers.
The business has grown significantly, and many of its customer processes have developed organically. Your role will be to bring greater structure, consistency, and accountability across the function while ensuring customers continue to receive an excellent experience.
You'll also play an important role in connecting the customer function with the wider business, working closely with Product, Development, and senior leadership to ensure customer feedback is captured, understood, and translated into meaningful product and service improvements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
