Our client: Well established, leading drinks business who have been through a period of fantastic growth. With a portfolio of spirits brands, this business are at the forefront of their categories, with numerous category leading brands. Hugely successful business model and well established within the industry. This business are determined to challenge what is possible within the drinks industry – they defy norms and constantly think outside the box. They are committed to doing things their way. We are now seeking a detail-focused Customer Service Manager/Finance Admin Assistant, to join the business in September!

The role: A highly administrative role supporting customer invoicing, office operations, compliance, and finance processes, with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation, and maintaining business records and trackers.

Order Invoicing & Customer Service (50%)

  • Maintain sales order trackers and process customer orders.
  • Match orders against proof of delivery documentation.
  • Raise invoices, credit notes, and debit notes accurately and on time.
  • Resolve customer invoice queries.
  • Provide cover for the Customer Services Manager when required.

General Administration (30%)

  • Manage general office administration and sample requests.
  • Maintain company policies, customer files, and operational trackers (holiday, sickness, key holders, etc.).
  • Coordinate customer and supplier due diligence reviews and annual compliance checks.
  • Update supplier packaging information and related spreadsheets.
  • Ensure company insurance and employee records remain current.
  • Maintain inventories of POS materials, samples, and stored items.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support across the business.

Finance Administration (20%)

  • Assist with matching customer payments to invoices.
  • Log and forward supplier invoices for processing.
  • Respond to supplier and accounts payable queries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date office and finance records.

Ideal candidate:

  • Will have proven experience operating in an internal Customer Service role, or as a Finance Admin Assistant.
  • Will have experience within FMCG or wider consumer goods/retail businesses.
  • Will be highly analytical and has high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Will have strong Excel skill.
  • Proactive and thrives in fast paced environments – no two days are the same in this business, so the successful individual will be agile and responsive.
