Customer Service Manager

Location: Remote | London based business
Salary: Circa £50,000

Lime Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing consumer business to recruit a Customer Service Manager.

This role will take responsibility for delivering an excellent experience to customers across multiple international markets. It combines team leadership with direct involvement in customer support, so you’ll be equally comfortable coaching others, resolving challenging cases and responding to customers yourself.

As the business continues to expand, you’ll help shape how the function develops. This will include strengthening processes, making better use of technology and ensuring the team can support increasing demand without losing the personal service customers expect.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the customer support function across multiple markets.
  • Manage and develop a small team, with the opportunity to expand it as the business grows.
  • Remain actively involved in responding to customers through email, social media and digital support channels.
  • Take responsibility for difficult or sensitive cases and ensure they are resolved appropriately.
  • Track service performance and use the findings to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop clearer and more effective processes for orders, deliveries, returns, reimbursements and recurring purchases.
  • Configure and improve the customer support platform to make the best use of workflows, templates, integrations and reporting.
  • Identify repeated customer issues and work with internal teams and external partners to address their underlying causes.
  • Balance positive customer outcomes with proportionate and commercially sound decision-making.
  • Introduce automation and AI tools where they can improve speed and consistency while preserving a high-quality personal service.
  • Help recruit, train and onboard new team members as customer demand increases.
  • Share customer insights with the wider business to inform operational and product improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
