Job Title: Customer Service Office Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Office Supervisor to lead our customer service administration team and ensure the smooth coordination of customer orders, production schedules, and delivery requirements across our operation. This role is well suited to an experienced customer service professional with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building high-performing teams while delivering exceptional customer service.

The Role

As a Customer Service Office Supervisor, you will oversee all customer-facing administrative operations, ensuring excellent service standards are maintained while supporting the effective communication between customers, production teams, transport, and sales departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting the Customer Service team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Overseeing the intake, processing, and tracking of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing customer enquiries, service requests, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure service expectations are consistently met
  • Acting as the key link between the customer service office and operational teams to ensure effective communication
  • Coordinating with Production, Transport, and Sales teams to support seamless service delivery
  • Monitoring service performance and proactively resolving issues, delays, or workflow challenges
  • Managing employee performance, absence, holiday planning, and team development activities
  • Conducting performance reviews and supporting ongoing training and development plans
  • Producing customer service reports, analysing performance trends, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, service documentation, and administrative controls
  • Supporting invoicing queries, credit requests, and service adjustments when required
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, service standards, and data protection requirements
  • Undertaking additional duties to support the wider business as required

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a customer service supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to analyse information and make informed decisions
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and customer service systems
  • A professional, customer-focused attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
