Job summary

At the forefront of the fight for a cleaner, fairer energy future, Ofgem is helping to deliver environmental schemes that support better energy efficiency and protect consumers. We’re looking for a Bilingual (English and Welsh speaking) Engagement Analyst to join us and help ensure people can access the information and support they need as we drive towards a greener energy system.

Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers, especially vulnerable people.

We’re offering a permanent role with the chance to contribute across our environmental schemes and build valuable experience within an organisation helping to shape the future of energy. You’ll become part of our Delivery and Schemes team, where excellent service and positive outcomes for consumers are at the heart of what we do. As a key Welsh-language contact, you’ll also use your bilingual skills to help us provide an accessible and effective service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience with the professional support you need to reach your full potential. You’ll work in a varied, fast-paced environment alongside supportive colleagues, gaining broad exposure to our environmental schemes while helping us maintain the high standards of service our participants and the public expect.

We’re looking for someone with experience in a customer-focused environment, an understanding of customer journeys and a confident approach to solving problems. You’ll also bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to organise changing priorities, alongside being comfortable working both collaboratively and on your own initiative. The ability to communicate effectively through the medium of Welsh is essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
