Location: Cannock, WS11 (Onsite Role) Hours: Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 | Friday 08:00 – 16:00 Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience

Trade Access Panels is one of the UK's leading suppliers of access panels, loft hatches, riser doors, rooflights and associated building products. We supply contractors, builders, housing associations, and homeowners nationwide, combining quality products with competitive pricing and exceptional customer service.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and enthusiastic Customer Service & Operations Administrator to become an important part of our friendly team.

About the Role

This is a varied, fast-paced office-based role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping them with enquiries, quotations and orders while supporting the smooth running of our daily operations. You'll also work closely with suppliers, couriers and colleagues to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Customer Support & Sales Admin

  • Handling a high volume of inbound telephone calls and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Providing product advice and guidance to trade customers and homeowners.
  • Processing customer orders accurately using our internal systems.
  • Keeping customers updated on order progress, lead times and deliveries.
  • Resolving delivery issues, damaged goods and missing items promptly.
  • Responding to website enquiries and assisting with customer requests.
  • Welcoming and assisting customers visiting our showroom when required.

Supplier & Operational Support

  • Raising and placing supplier purchase orders.
  • Checking supplier order acknowledgements and invoices for accuracy.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding stock levels, lead times and deliveries.
  • Booking courier collections and deliveries.
  • Preparing dispatch paperwork and delivery documentation.
  • Supporting stock administration and reporting where required.
  • Assisting management with general office administration and operational projects.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in a customer service, sales administration or operations administration role.
  • Experience within construction, building supplies, manufacturing or e-commerce would be advantageous but isn't essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and checking invoices.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues wherever needed.
