Role: Customer Service & Operations Coordinator

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum

Location: Stockport (Hybrid)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day (between 08:00 - 17:30 on a 3-week rotating shift pattern: 08:00-16:30 / 08:30-17:00 / 09:00-17:30)

We are recruiting on behalf of an established technology and fleet solutions provider based in Stockport. They are seeking a proactive, highly organised Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to join their fast-paced operations team.

This is a versatile role bridging customer support, operational scheduling, and partner liaison. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day enquiries, coordinating technical team schedules, and assisting with claims and order workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer queries across multiple channels and conduct proactive courtesy calls to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage diary scheduling and site visits for Account Managers and Field Installation Technicians.
  • Liaise with external insurance partners to assist with ongoing claims and query resolution.
  • Process customer orders, account updates, and cancellations accurately within internal systems.
  • Review and triage device/telematics data to assist clients with technical queries.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support billing, invoicing, and contract charge checks.
  • Provide operational cover for the dispatch and fulfilment function during peak periods.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven background in customer service or operational support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience handling both inbound and outbound customer communication.
  • Strong organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Intermediate IT proficiency (MS Office, Word, Excel) and confidence adapting to proprietary software and CRM portals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving initiative.
