Job Title: Customer Service & Planning Co-ordinator
Reporting To: Head of Planning & Logistics
Job Summary/Purpose
Owns production planning and the customer order cycle across assigned production areas (primarily IQF), making sure customer demand is met on time at the right stock levels and as efficiently as production allows.
Person Specification
- Great team player.

- Logical, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Confident to constructively challenge existing ways of working.
- Experience of food manufacturing desirable.
Required Skills
- Customer service & production planning experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Exceptional multitasking skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan manufacturing orders to satisfy customer demands and inventory levels.
- Plan and manage production schedules to ensure excellent on-time delivery of all customer orders.
- Proactively manage customer orders and information flow through the business from demand to supply.
- Maintain a weekly production plan that holds target stock levels and maximises customer service while running production efficiently.
- Attend and contribute to planning and commercial meetings.
Breakdown of Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers’ supply chain functions. Respond to customer enquiries, manage claims for discrepancies, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication.
- Ensure customer orders are processed efficiently from start to finish, including receipt, stock availability checks, and invoicing.
- Work closely with the relevant Account Managers to ensure awareness of issues.
- Work with third-party warehouses, hauliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery processes.
- Liaise with Procurement to ensure sufficient raw material availability.
- Liaise with Operations, Engineering, and other site teams to ensure any potential downtime is captured and resolved in the production plan.
