Job Title
The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible for converting customers into passionate evangelists.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability
- Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs
- Data entry in various platforms
Qualifications
- At least 1 - 3 years' of relevant work experience
- Co-Op – Customer Service Legal
Pay Rate
- Current - £13.04 Per hour
Role & Call Details
- High‑volume outbound call environment.
- Leads are provided daily; agents receive calls directly on screen and dial out.
- Calls typically cover:
- Offering condolences and emotional support.
- Explaining what customers may be entitled to.
- Practical next steps (e.g. home insurance, car insurance).
- Legal aspect: determining whether probate is required (yes/no questions only).
- Calls are made 24–48 hours after the loss, so emotional resilience is essential.
- Call quality is monitored due to regulatory requirements.
- Targets include: Volume of outbound calls and Number of probate appointments booked for CBS.
- Typical volume: 70–90 dials per day
- Around half of these connect.

Working Pattern & Setup
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
- Fully home‑based.
- Laptop provided.
- Candidates must have: Strong and reliable Wi‑Fi.
- A private working environment (GDPR compliant).
- Training: One week long.
- Completed on the candidate’s own device.
- iPad, tablet, or laptop is acceptable, as laptop is sent out on their first day.

Candidate Profile
- Experience in a regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a volume call centre environment.
- Experience with: GDPR‑based questioning at the start of the call
- Working to targets.
- Outbound and inbound calls experience we can look at
- Strong emotional resilience required due to nature of calls.
Interview Process
- Stage 1: interview with set questions on a pre recorded system followed by Short technical interview with role play (1 hour via Teams).
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
