About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Reading. This full-time role involves providing outstanding service to our customers throughout their car rental experience. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with renting vehicles, returning cars, and resolving any issues that may arise. You will be the face of our company, ensuring each customer interaction is positive, efficient, and aligned with our high standards of service. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks, coordinating vehicle deliveries and collections, and supporting the team to meet branch KPIs. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and a friendly attitude. Strong administrative skills and proficiency in computer applications are essential for managing bookings, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. A full driving license held for at least 12 months is required, as there may be occasions where driving or vehicle maintenance tasks are necessary. Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and exceed customer requirements to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery and collection of rental vehicles at designated locations.
- Verify customer information, process payments, and accurately complete rental agreements.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of retail rental procedures and company policies.
- Consistently adhere to the Switch process to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and services to enhance customer experience and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Work within Service Level Agreements to meet or exceed branch KPI objectives.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager, which may include vehicle driving and cleaning, depending on operational needs.
