Customer Service Representative
Plastribution Group is looking for a Customer Service Representative on a full-time basis to work in our Leicester-based business – Eagle Plastics.
At Plastribution Group, great customer service is our speciality. We are looking for a highly motivated team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the general running of the team and help co-ordinate the following activities:
- Accepting, processing and invoicing sales orders.
- Providing support to the Credit Control function.
- Liaising with the wider commercial and operations team regarding material purchases, stockholding, warehousing and transport-related enquiries.
- Liaising with Account Managers on a day-to-day basis regarding sales, samples, quotations and general market information.
- Keeping accurate files and records within the CRM system to support Account Managers and internal procedures.
- Completing any other ad hoc administrative requests and operational tasks as required by the customer.
- Providing customer quotations as required.
- Supporting the Sales team and working to improve customer relations and systems in support of the business.
- Liaising with customers regarding sales orders, deliveries and complaints.
- Assisting in chasing existing and lost business through effective marketing techniques.
- Assisting in administering the company’s e-commerce platforms.
- Entering all quotations, samples and market information into the relevant systems and liaising with other team members to follow these through to their conclusion. This includes logging samples sent to customers, consistently following them up and evaluating the effectiveness of sampling.
- Working as a team to report on sales results at the end of each month and discussing these results in sales meetings and whenever required.
- Being flexible to meet the company’s needs, including providing cover for absent colleagues and training new members of staff.
- Providing general office support, including answering the intercom and external phone lines.
- Reporting any non-conformance through Cases in the CRM system.
